When Good Trees Go Bad

It was Cedric’s eleventh birthday. Me, Nikk, Cedric and David we were all walking down to the lower field to play with David’s new kangaroo leather boomerang he had got from G.A.T.E.
First Cedric would throw because it was his birthday next it would be David after Nikk would throw and last it would be me. Everyone was having a good time until it happened. I threw it, and out of nowhere a bad wind came in and took the boomerang in to an enormous bushy tree. We all got bummed so we tried to look for it in the tree.
We all started to throw sticks, pinecones anything we could find to try to find it. That’s when Cedric stared to climb the fence to get on the tree. He finally got on the tree. He tried to get a better look for it and stepped on a week branch. Crack and ahhh!!! crunch that’s all you heard. Nick Fowler took it as a joke and pretended to call 911 on his phone while I and Nikk helped the cedric get up to his feet. I and Nikk told Cedric if he wanted to go to the nurse, and he said “no I’m ok’’. Nikk took Cedric to sit down. That’s when the P.E. teacher came over and gave us the longest speech you ever heard about climbing trees. That’s when Ivan came and threw a stick so the boomerang was visible then I threw the stick and the boomerang fell and we all left.
