Lost for Toys

“Bertha, hurry up! We’re going to the store with friends to buy house supplies!” yelled my mom.
I was only seven at the time so I thought, “How boring.” I didn’t know what was in store for me that day.
It was a short but impatient ride. When we got to K-Mart, she went to look for shoes. I got bored so I wandered off to the toy section for about 15 minutes. When I went back to look for my mom, I didn’t find her.
I kept searching for an hour. When I didn’t find her, I panicked. I ran to the desk and asked the cashier if he could please call for my mom. As I panicked, and glared at everyone, they looked so tall, and scary. At that time they all looked like kidnapers. Everywhere I looked, I seemed to see eyes glaring at me. At that point I felt really scared. All of a sudden I heard a loud grumbling sound over the loud speaker. The man at the cash register was calling for my mom again. When I suddenly saw my mom coming my way, I thought, I’m in trouble now.
