KNOCK OUT
Little did I know
what was in store for me today. It was December 3, 2006, and I just turned 11.
I was getting ready for my soccer game. It was at Marina. But, I couldn’t find
my soccer socks. I and my mom had a small dispute about socks. I asked my mom
to help me, but she said no I’m too busy.
“Please, could you help me find them?” I exclaimed.
“NO!” my mom yelled.
“Please!”
“NO! You have eyes, look.”
“Fine.”
I finally found them. My brother Cymon hid them in his toy box with his action
figures (dolls).
Rushing out the door with my two brothers; but there were so slow like slugs.
Yelling at them,” COME ON!” I screamed. Finally, we got in the van.
We got to Preston Park. Running to the coach telling us where positions are
and I was mid forward. Only hearing “LETS GO!” everyone said.
I sprinted up the field to the goal. Trying to go through the huge defender,
without passing the soccer ball. Before you know it I’m flying in the air. Then
BAM! Right on the ground. My mom was panicking right on the ground. My mom was
panicking because I was not getting up. Then 10 minutes later I finally got
up and I was fine. Then we kept playing. We won the game 6 to 4.
That was a good day, but my lesson was learned. Don’t go through huge people.
You will end up really hurt. It will always be a memorable moment for me because
when my told that she really freak out and my looks really funny when she freaks
out.
