Lost at the Northridge Mall

“Kareem we are going to the Northridge mall and you have to come,” My parents stated. “Okay,” I uttered. It was a long and inpatient ride to Salinas. I would have rather been home and watching television, but I was 7 years old, finally the car parked in the parking lot.
I got out of the car slowly. My dad went to Jc Pennys. Me and my mom went to Macy’s. “Do we have to do this I asked,” I asked. “Yes,” My mom replied. Once my mom got to the women’s sections, she forget all about me .I wondered of and soon I found myself lost. I did know I was lost for about 10 minutes. “Mom,” I shouted. I did not hear an answer back. I thought that my parents had left me and I was going to become a hobo. I started to look for my parents but finally decided to give up. Then I saw my mom looking for me and shouting, “Kareem where are you.” I ran to her. I was relieved but angry at myself for wondering of. I learned never to wonder of when you don’t know the place that good.
