Haunted House

“Do we have to go to the haunted house? I’m terrified,” that’s what Ernie said as we got in line.
“Yes, we’re already here. What’s the point of going home now?” That’s what I said as we walked inside.
The building was big and filled with scary things. It was packed too. It took us about 20 minutes just to get inside. We were also with our friend Logan. This all happened at the beginning of sixth grade. This whole time this was going on I was trying not to make fun of my friend Ernie.
We went in, and immediately an ugly, scary looking witch scared us. Ernie screamed; I really tried not to tease him because that would be mean. The most frightening thing in the there was this wolf that looked real and chased you. Ernie grabbed onto my sweatshirt in the middle of the haunted house because he was looked really scared at was trying to cover his eyes. It was a little uncomfortable, but I let him do it because I wanted to be a good friend. At the end was this guy with a mask who chases you with a chainsaw. I’ll tell you, that was the fastest I’ve ever seen Ernie run. In the end I felt like a good friend for not teasing him because he said, “I’m glad that we did this.”
